We met through our connections in volleyball, but our life together has grown into something far bigger than the sport. What began on the sand evolved into a partnership built on curiosity, adventure, and a shared belief in living with intention. Volleyball has carried us around the world — from quiet morning practices at home to stadiums buzzing with energy on the international stage — and everywhere we go, we’re reminded that we’re never traveling alone.

For us, Team Shaw has never just meant the two of us. It includes our families, who shaped us. Our friends, who keep us grounded. And the supporters and fans across the globe who cheer, follow, encourage, and believe in us — even from thousands of miles away. Every message, every wave from the stands, every person who chooses to be part of our journey… you’re woven into the story with us.

As athletes and people, we try to live in ways that reflect all the things we care about: growth, resilience, care for the planet, and gratitude for community. Whether we’re training, creating, giving back, or exploring the outdoors with Bucky trotting beside us and Jazz watching from our car’s passenger seat, we carry that larger team with us.

Team Shaw is our reminder that great things are never done alone. It’s a family made up of everyone who has touched our lives or let us into theirs. And everything we build — from the projects we take on to the values we stand behind — is rooted in that shared spirit.
